Toyota Service & Repair in Newcastle
Toyota servicing to the manufacturer’s schedule, at independent workshop prices. Hilux, LandCruiser, Prado, RAV4, Corolla and hybrids, all under one roof in Cardiff.
Toyotas run for a long time, which is why plenty of them miss the checks they need. A Hilux with 250,000 km on the clock still has a diesel particulate filter, injectors and a gearbox that wear. As an independent Toyota mechanic in Newcastle, A to Z Automotive services the full range: Hilux, LandCruiser 70, 200 and 300 Series, Prado, Fortuner, RAV4, Kluger, Corolla, Camry, Yaris, C-HR, HiAce and every Toyota hybrid. Genuine and OEM equivalent parts, Toyota specification oils and coolant, and Toyota-capable diagnostics on every job.
Most Toyota repairs that come through our Cardiff workshop fall into three groups. Diesel Hilux and Prado owners who mostly do short local trips come to us with a blocked diesel particulate filter (DPF). Corolla, C-HR and RAV4 owners bring in a CVT automatic that has started to judder or whine. Hybrid owners get the same attention through our hybrid and EV servicing, from inverter coolant to battery cooling fans.
Whether it is a straight 12 month or 15,000 km logbook service, a pre-trip check before the Hilux heads north, or a fault another workshop could not find, the work is documented properly, your book is stamped, and your Toyota new car warranty stays intact.

Why Newcastle Toyota Owners Come to Us

FAQ's
TOYOTO SERVICE QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
What Newcastle Toyota owners ask us most, from service intervals and warranty through to hybrids and Hilux faults.
How often does a Toyota need servicing in Australia?
Many current Toyota models, including Corolla, RAV4, Camry and the hybrid range, need a service every 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first. Diesel 4WDs such as Hilux, Prado and LandCruiser generally run a shorter 6 month or 10,000 km interval. A to Z Automotive confirms the correct schedule for your model and build year before booking.
Can an independent Toyota mechanic service my car without voiding the warranty?
Yes. Under Australian Consumer Law, you can have your Ford serviced at any qualified independent workshop without affecting the five year factory warranty, provided the work is carried out to Ford specification using appropriate parts and fluids. A to Z Automotive uses genuine and Motorcraft parts, Ford specification oils, and dealer level diagnostic software, then documents every service so your warranty position is fully protected.
Do you do Toyota logbook servicing in Newcastle?
Yes. We carry out Toyota logbook services at our Cardiff workshop to the manufacturer schedule, using Toyota specification oil and coolant and genuine or OEM equivalent filters. Your logbook is stamped and every job is recorded with a photo backed inspection report.
Do you service Toyota hybrids like the Prius, Corolla and RAV4 Hybrid?
Yes. We service the full Toyota hybrid range, including Prius, Corolla, Camry, RAV4, C-HR, Yaris Cross and Kluger Hybrid. That includes hybrid battery health testing, battery cooling fan and filter cleaning, inverter coolant checks and hybrid brake checks.
Do you service the Toyota Hilux and LandCruiser?
Yes. Hilux, Prado, Fortuner and LandCruiser 70, 200 and 300 Series make up a large share of the Toyota work at our Cardiff workshop. That covers Toyota Hilux service and logbook work, DPF diagnosis and cleaning, injector faults, diff and transfer case servicing, and pre-trip and towing checks.
Why does my Hilux keep showing a DPF warning?
The most common cause is short trips that never let the engine get hot enough to complete a regeneration. Faulty pressure sensors, injector problems and incorrect oil can cause the same warning. We diagnose the cause first, then clean or repair the filter so the warning does not return a few thousand kilometres later.
How much does a Toyota service cost compared with a Toyota dealer?
Toyota’s capped price servicing is competitive for the first few years, so we will be honest about that. Where we usually save owners money is once capped pricing ends, on higher kilometre vehicles, and on repairs. Call the workshop with your model, build year and kilometres for an itemised quote.
