Hybrid & EV Car Servicing in Newcastle
More hybrid and electric cars are turning up in our workshop every month, and a lot of them are the same European brands we’ve been working on for years. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Land Rover and Porsche all build hybrid and electric models now, and they still need the same level of care, just with a few extra systems to look after.
From battery health checks to charging system inspections, we service hybrid and electric vehicles the same way we’ve always serviced European cars, properly, with the right tools and the right knowledge.

FAQ's
Hybrid and EV Servicing Questions
Will servicing my hybrid or EV here affect my warranty?
No. As long as the service follows the manufacturer’s required schedule and uses the correct parts and fluids, having your hybrid or EV serviced at an independent workshop like A to Z does not affect your warranty.
How often does a hybrid or EV need to be serviced?
It depends on the manufacturer, but most hybrid and EV servicing intervals are similar to petrol vehicles, typically every 12 months or around 15,000 kilometres. We’ll follow the schedule for your specific make and model.
Is servicing a hybrid or EV more expensive than a petrol car?
Not necessarily. Some checks are different, such as battery health and high voltage systems, but hybrids and EVs have fewer moving parts overall, including no traditional exhaust or transmission fluid changes in some models, which can balance out the cost.
Do you service hybrid and electric versions of European brands specifically?
Yes. We work on hybrid and electric Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Land Rover, Porsche and other European makes as part of our regular work, alongside Japanese hybrid brands.
